Serving the Greater Community as a caring Christian community, Christ Church places a high priority on reaching out to those in physical, material and spiritual need. Our Outreach programs involve both volunteer participation and meaningful financial contributions by parish members of all ages. In 2006, Christ Church contributed to a dozen worthy local and, in some cases, international causes.

Midnight Run
A program specifically for youth groups helping homeless people in New York City Domestic Mission Trip, an annual week long mission opportunity for youth families supporting and people in New York City.
Domestic Mission Trip
An annual week long mission opportunity for youth and families supporting and assisting people in impoverished areas.
Mission San Andres
An Episcopal mission in Yonkers. Christ Church gathered and delivered Christmas presents for their children.
Breakfast Run
A youth program providing aid to the homeless.
Outreach Sunday
A special Sunday involving the entire parish, devoted to a variety of projects such as Habitat, Harlem Episcopal School, medicines and toiletries for the homeless as well as others.
The Bridge Fund of Westchester
An organization providing temporary housing assistance to the poor.
Global Aids Interfaith Alliance (GAIA)
Through a parish group (GAIA Interest Group) Christ Church sponsors mission trips to GAIA projects in Malawi and encourages individual parish contributions.
Young at Arts
An organization sponsoring theatrical events for children in our local area.

All members of the community are welcome and invited to participate in Outreach programs. Please also make us aware of your own Outreach ideas and efforts.
